Be a new trekking route known from 3 years ago, Binh Lieu is a mountainous district in the northern part of Quang Ninh province, 108 km from Halong city and 28 km from Tien Yen town.
The nature is favorable to many beautiful landscapes so you can come to Binh Lieu at any time of the year. If you come here in the last days of March, early April, you will be admired beautiful ‘trau’ flower season; in the summer and autumn, you will see waterfalls, green terraced fields. The last months of the year is also a beautiful time because this is the time when the terraces cover the brilliant yellow of the rice, the season of flowers, new rice celebration and many other interesting things.
Cai Chien Island
Located in the sea area of Hai Ha, Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh province, but not developed as Co To, Cai Chien is attractive to tourists because of the pristine beauty of the beach and the green casuarina ranges. To get to this beautiful island, you have to move to Hai Ha port, then take a boat about 30 – 40 minutes to Cai Chien island, or you can also go canoe or motorboat to shorten the time.
Mount Bai Tho
Bai Tho Mountain is a beautiful limestone mountain in Halong City, Quang Ninh Province. In this mountain, there are Han poems written by Le Thanh Tong king etched in stone in 1468 and by Trinh Cuong in 1729. This is also the reason why the mountain is called Bai Tho (poem). From many angles, you will see the mountain when at the shape of the lion with the prey, at the shape like the dragon about to take off. Although this is not the highest mountain in the city, it is quite ideal location for you to admire the panorama of Halong Bay from above.
There are two roads to climb Bai Tho mount, one from Long Tien Street, the alley next to Long Tien Pagoda, one from Hang Noi Street, very small alley to pay attention or ask the local people, you can park your means in Halong Market or Cay Thap Street in opposite.
Ba Vang Pagoda
Located on the middle of Thanh Dang Mountain, the pagoda is also called Bao Quang Tu, commonly known as Ba Vang. The temple is located at 340m in a very beautiful position in the west of Uong Bi City, in front of the Bach Dang River, far away from the port city of Hai Phong. On the left are the mountains of Thanh Long, on the right is the Bach Ho (White Tiger) Mountain range.
Stop at the entrance of the pagoda, step through the gate, travelers begin to follow the steps to climb up. From here, a peaceful space opens with the murmuring sound of streams, trees and stones arranged harmoniously, making people forget the exhaustion of the journey.
Yen Tu Mountain is a high mountain in the Dong Trieu Mountains in northeastern Vietnam in Thuong Yen Commune, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province. As a natural landscape, Yen Tu mountain still preserves many historic sites with the name “the land of Buddhism in Vietnam”.
The top of the mountain is often covered with clouds, so it is called Bach Van Son. The total length of the road to the summit of Yen Tu (Dong Pagoda) is about 6000m with 6 hours of continuous walk through thousands of stone steps, forest road … However, if not enough time or health, you can choose going up by cable car to shorten the distance. In particular, the Yen Tu festival is held every year starting in January 10th and lasting through March (lunar calendar). It is one of the festivals attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.
Co To island
Co To is an archipelago located in the east of Quang Ninh province, about 80km from Halong Bay with over 50 islands and islets – the ideal destination for those who love traveling and exploring. Dragon Eye Island
Located in Bai Dong island on the southern edge of Halong Bay, Dragon Eye Island is a hot spot with young people, by the green space, wild scenery and little known by tourists. As recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Halong Bay consists of 1,600 large and small islands of various shapes and sizes, most of which have no inhabitants.
